Crispy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Lately, we had multiple movie nights as the pouring season never seems to end and it’s starting to feel very chill around here. Instead of regular snacks like popcorn or chips, I like to have some better alternatives. Finger food is my go-to snacks and this crispy garlic parmesan chicken wings is one of them.

Juicy, tender and yet, crispy and very flavorful. What more can I ask? This garlic parmesan chicken wings are great for everyone in the family. It is not spicy at all, so the kids can enjoy it as well. Pair the wings with some French fries, mashed potato or fluffy steam rice and voila, it’s a complete meal for the kids. For the spicy-lover like me, I can always dip the chicken wings with hot sauce or sriracha. It’s a win-win for everyone, right?

Tip: You can replace the minced garlic with garlic powder for the coating. I like it better with fresh garlic as I can feel that it is more aromatic, and the flavor is stronger.

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the paprika powder, garlic powder,5-spice powder, cumin, coriander, salt and pepper. Stir it until all are mixed thoroughly. Then, add Greek yogurt and stir until all have been mixed well.
  • Add the chicken wings into the large bowl. Rub the marinade onto the chicken wings and ensure all areas of the wings are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours, overnight is better.
  • Pre-heat the oven under 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a baking sheet, brush the olive oil onto the sheet. Afterwards, place each wing onto the baking sheet and brush them with olive oil as well. Do not overcrowd the chicken on the baking sheet.
  • Place the sheet into the oven and bake it for one hour.
  • Once it is done, immediately place the wings into a large bowl. Add the minced garlic and parmesan cheese. Toss the wings around to give a good mix. If you like it to be saltier, you can sprinkle with sea salt.
  • The chicken wings are ready to be served with your favorite condiment!
